Peace is too serious a matter to be left in the hands of a few political and military leaders alone
In March 2022, in the wake of the events in Ukraine, ordinary citizens, partisans, convinced pacifists and experts in social and political innovation decided to rise above their passivity and no longer stand idly by as victims of the world's political and economic leaders, whose irresponsible and inconsistent actions and decisions demonstrate that their main obsession is to seek to perpetuate their powers through Fear, Division, Propaganda and Destruction.
Having learned nothing from history, they are now repeating the mistakes of the past, with no regard for the general interest, for any bold, progressive, long-term humanist vision, for any quest to democratise societies, for any desire for true justice or true peace.
As Albert Einstein said, ‘we cannot solve our problems with the same way of thinking that we used when we created them’.
We are dying collectively because of the lack of imagination, creativity and social, political, institutional and diplomatic innovation at the highest levels of the world's states in the face of all the perils of our time.
Our objective is clear and unambiguous: to bring together the citizens of Europe and elsewhere to put forward our innovative proposals, which alone can create the conditions for true and perpetual peace in Europe and the world.
